Kites tried it’s best but couldn’t fly high as expected. The much awaited release of Hrithik Roshan has fallen flat after the initial hype and good weekend. The movie distributors will be suffering losses . In recent past we have seen films like Ishqiya making good chunk due to good word of mouth. That’s what has gone against Kites. The movie that had huge expectations has been facing negative word of mouth. The slow pace of the film, predictable story is being said as the basic reason for the fall.
The movie based on two lovers has been praised for the splendid performances and locales. The movie that’s also being released in the English version which is shorter than hindi one will be released in June. Shahid Kapoor starrer Badmaash Company and Hosuefull are only the films that have recorded good numbers. With Kites falling flat, all eyes are set on Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti scheduled for 4th June closing followede by Raavan on 18th June.
