Bon Jovi is a rock band originating from New Jersey. The group is fronted by lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, and also includes Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres. The group originally achieved large-scale success in the 1980s as a hair band because of their voluminous 1980s-style hair.
After more than two decades of producing music, the band has released 10 studio albums and have sold over 120 million albums worldwide.

Jon Bon Jovi greets friends and fans while on vacation in St. Barth, French West Indies on Wednesday (December 30).
It looks like the 47-year-old New Jersey musician and his family are spending the holiday on the beach escaping the east coast snow.
Couple days ago, Jon had a little bit of a scare when one of his sons was rushed to the hospital in the middle of a snowstorm. He was briefly hospitalized but seems to be doing fine.

One of Jon Bon Jovi 's sons was taken to the hospital early this morning. Law enforcement sources in Middletown, NJ tell TMZ a call was placed from Bon Jovi's home at around 2:20 AM. Because of weather conditions, an SUV transported the boy to a local hospital instead of an ambulance. He was taken to Rierview Medical Center in Redbank, NJ and released early this morning. We don't know the nature of the emergency.
