Bon Jovi is a rock band originating from New Jersey. The group is fronted by lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, and also includes Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres. The group originally achieved large-scale success in the 1980s as a hair band because of their voluminous 1980s-style hair.
After more than two decades of producing music, the band has released 10 studio albums and have sold over 120 million albums worldwide.

One of Jon Bon Jovi 's sons was taken to the hospital early this morning. Law enforcement sources in Middletown, NJ tell TMZ a call was placed from Bon Jovi's home at around 2:20 AM. Because of weather conditions, an SUV transported the boy to a local hospital instead of an ambulance. He was taken to Rierview Medical Center in Redbank, NJ and released early this morning. Kid Rock and Dave Grohl are the new Taylor Swift and Gwen Stefani -- because now the fellas are following in their feminine counterpart's footsteps by suing a small town bar for allegedly jacking their tunes. The two rockers dropped a serious copyright infringement lawsuit on a Canton, Ohio watering hole -- Mallonn's Grill & Bar -- because the drinking establishment allegedly didn't have the licensing it needed to play their music.
