Bonnie Raitt and Taj Mahal are planning a hot summer together. Even though they've known each other for decades, they will tour as a double bill for the first time beginning Aug. 6 in Williamsport, Pa. They plan on appearing in each other's sets and recreating classic duets from some of the great duos in music history, like Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. "There will be a lot of heat, because Taj and I love each other," Raitt said recently during a joint interview via phone from San Francisco. "Let's give them something to talk about A little mystery to figure out" - Bonnie Raitt Random observation: I took a quick look outside this morning at our crape myrtle trees. They still have their tissue paper soft, pink blossoms still intact. (I was too lazy to go outside to take a picture, so I stood inside of my bathtub and took this one from the bathroom window) Last year by this time, they were infested with japanese beetles. This year, there is hardly one to be seen! I'm glad, but I wonder what happened? Strange. I'll have to do some reading up on ... Read Full Story
