Another False "The Black Guy Did It" Claim
SOUTHAMPTON, PA - On Tuesday, Pennsylvania mom Bonnie Sweeten, 38, called Philadelphia's 911 dispatch center alleging that she and her daughter Julia Rakoczy, 9, had been kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a car.
Ms. Sweeten told 911 that she and her daughter were beaten by two black men prior to being placed in the trunk of their car after the men rear-ended them in Southampton, PA. When police arrived to the scene, they found no evidence of an accident having taken place there or any witnesses that saw it. In less than two days, police tracked down Ms. Sweeten and her daughter through her cell phone. Where were they? In Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World.
Ms. Sweeten has been taken into custody and is scheduled to be returned to Pennsylvania where she will face misdemeanor charges of making false reports and identity theft.
