I built a little hanging magazine rack for my coffee table and figured I would apply the same idea to a bookshelf (cut a board at 35 degrees and mount one half of it to the wall and the other half would be part of the frame. The thin posts were a pain the in….there was a knot right at the bend of one which moved all over the place. Was running low on wood and used the raw edge for one of the shelves, which I actually ended up liking. Joinery was pretty easy, the biggest pain was actually the large cove on the top – which I did by angling the top over a table saw blade. Why I didn’t know was that this would result in end grain with looked like a 70’s carpet...
