Growing up we did not have a Dairy Queen on the Air Force Base, in fact there was not one in our small city. However, where my grandparents lived in Roswell, New Mexico, there was one at the northwest corner of Washington St. and Second St. It was always a big treat to get a Dairy Queen.
I always wondered…how did they get the ice cream so creamy!
