Ken odds tumble after opinion poll boost

Despite going ahead of Boris Johnson in an opinion poll, Ken Livingstone remains second favourite to win the London Mayoral election - but William Hill have cut his odds significantly from 2/1 to 13/8, and lengthened long-time favourite Boris from 4/11 to 4/9.

‘Opinion poll results do influence political punters and we expect to see money coming in for a Ken victory, but whether he can replace Boris as favourite remains to be seen' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
