Bottled Water vs. Filtered Water

Despite all the hype and expensive ad campaigns, the best water does not come in a bottle.
Companies like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, with their Dasani and Aquafina bottled water products, spend millions of dollars on ads that depict fresh mountain springs and nature... when in fact both of these, like many leading brands, use municipally treated tap water as the source.
Bottled water is not only the fastest-growing segment of the entire beverage industry, it is also the most profitable. This explosive industry is fueled by the misconception that bottled water is safer or better than tap water... when in most cases it is not. It is simply not possible for water to be bottled in plastic containers, at a bottling plant, and be purer than what a quality home water filtration system can provide.
Home water filtration is far more convenient, produces higher quality water and costs a fraction of what bottled water does.
We seem to have regressed in our society when it comes to water. Years ago, we went outside of our homes to "fetch" water... from the well or stream. Then we advanced to indoor plumbing, one of the greatest lifestyle improvements of our time. Now we have regressed back to "fetching" water, or having it "fetched," from outside our homes... typically from the grocery store or delivery man. It just doesn't make sense to go to the expense and inconvenience of bottled water, when we can have higher-quality water on tap, in our own homes, for around 10 cents a gallon!
Quality in-home water filtration is by far the best way to ensure healthy water for you and your family.
