Colorado Rockies outfielder Brad Hawpe was taken to a hospital with a possible concussion after he was hit in the neck by San Diego catcher Nick Hundley's throw to second in the sixth inning Monday night. Hawpe stayed on the ground as Rockies trainers rushed out to attend to him. Brad Hawpe and the Colorado Rockies agreed to a $17.425 million deal on Tuesday, betting on at least three more seasons together with a club option for 2011.
