Pitcher Brad Penny And Karina Smirnoff Kiss At LA Club

(Getty Images)more pics »Brad Penny, the San Francisco Giants starting pitcher, was seen getting all hot and bothered with Dancing With The Stars' Karina Smirnoff last night, according to TMZ. The web site features a video of the two playing a little tonsil hockey during the Steel Panther show at the Key Club in Hollywood.

Karina just split from her fiance and fellow dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but it doesn't look like she's wasting any time getting back in the game -- though who knows if it'll be more than a passing-through thing for these two. After all, Brad's got games to play in the Bay.

Brad, 31, left the Red Sox late this summer after signing a pro-rated contract to switch over to the San Francisco team. The Sox footed the majority of his $5 million contract for 2009. He pitched 8 shutout innings his first game with the Giants, in a 4-0 win over Philadelphia.

The pitcher had only played with the Boston team since January of this year, and before that he had been with the Dodgers since 2004.
