In a tearful interview with The Bachelor host Chris Harrison, Emily said: "We're no longer engaged." She apparently opted to tape the interview for an upcoming Bachelorette episode to curtail "all the media speculation" so that she and her six-year-old girl could "move on and get back to normal."

Womack's apparently taking the split hard – as well as with a lot of personal blame. He declined to participate in the intimate sit-down with Chris, but told People: "The demise of our relationship was completely my fault."

ORIGINAL STORY: There appears to be an end to the relationship that really never started. The Bachelor's engaged duo, Emily Maynard and Brad Womack, are finished with trying to make their rocky romance a perfect love story.

The confirmation? Emily ran errands in Charlotte, North Carolina last week without her sparkly ring, and one show insider told Us: "It's completely over now."

DON'T MISS:
It's been a contentious love affair since Brad put the 3-carat Neil Lane sparkler on Emily's finger on the ABC finale back in March. Weeks after the nationally televised proposal, the duo announced they had split but were working on mending things. They tried to maintain a happy appearance, probably so The Bachelor could seem semi-legit.

But two weeks ago, when Emily traveled to Brad's home of Austin, Texas, they put an end to the efforts...since that inevitable day, the following has been said about the two:

About Emily:

"Emily is happy in Charlotte."

"She is content."

About Brad:

"Brad keeps drunk-dialing her."

"Brad is such a loser."

That about sums it up.
