Earth To Brandon Marshall, Wake Up!

What are you thinking? I can’t believe the comments about getting kicked out of the game as one of your goals this week. You are on a team, I repeat, TEAM! There’s no I in the word. It’s cool if you don’t like your opponents, but this is completely and utterly ridiculous in my book and very selfish as well.

You have a responsibility to your teammates, coaches, and fans to play to win the game. This right here is total garbage and I don’t care who agrees with me or who doesn’t because if I was your coach your a$$ would be on the bench. I don’t care how good you are because a good player can’t help his team by getting tossed out of games on purpose!

Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano needs to nip this in the bud asap because you can’t have this on a team. What do you think?

DAVIE, Fla. — Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall says he has been playing with his emotions in check and plans to show more passion Monday night against the New York Jets, with a goal of getting kicked out of the game in the second quarter.

When asked if he was joking, Marshall said no.

“I’m not joking. I’m serious,” Marshall told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “They’re going to fine me. It’s probably going to be like a $50,000 fine. But that quarter and a half that I’m out there, I’m going to play like a monster.

“I might get in a fight with Bart Scott. (Antonio) Cromartie, we pretty much matured our relationship and grew a little bit. We used to fight in Denver and San Diego. If that happens, it happens, so we’ll see.”

In July, Marshall disclosed he was diagnosed earlier this year with borderline personality disorder. On Thursday, he said he hasn’t played with enough emotion in the first four games for the Dolphins, who are winless.

“Obviously, Brandon was 50 percent kidding,” Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said. “I know one thing about that guy: He’s not going to do anything to hurt this football team. I know the people in that locker room are important to him, and this guy has worked really hard.”
