A terrible tragedy tonight in the world of baseball, Gabrielle Dawn Schoeneweis, wife of Diamondbacks relief pitcher Scott Schoeneweis, was found dead at the couple’s home in Fountain Hills, Arizona on Wednesday afternoon.
The Schoeneweis’ 14-year-old daughter notified police upon discovering her 39-year-old mother laying on the floor in her parents’ bedroom. When police officers arrived, Gabrielle Dawn Schoeneweis was pronounced dead. There is no cause of death at this point.
