The abomination at Arrowhead was all part of “the plan." So was the loss to the Bengals the week earlier. The Steelers have set out to lull the rest of the AFC playoff field into a false sense of security. Any time now, they will spring their trap. After all, no team can possibly give up four kickoff returns in five weeks, right? That must have been intentional. Maybe the special teams were just itching to set a record. Cleveland Browns versus Pittsburgh Steelers 8:20 PM, Thursday Night Football Remember last week, how everyone was saying that it was playoff time in Pittsburgh? Well, we're going to take a mulligan on that one. This week in Cleveland it really is do or die time. The Steelers have to win out, along with having a few things fall their way to enter the playoffs as a wild card team. If they lose, they're done, without a look back. What team other...

Broncos-Steelers, two likely AFC contenders. Personally I'll be rooting for the Steelers to give the Colts a 2 game lead on the rest of the AFC, and because Smire-Time Hines Wald and HARF HARF Ben are two of my all time favorite characters in any medium. Even more interesting is the battle for the leagues drunkest, beardedest, quarterback in the league. vs.

At the same time the Colts and Patriots are looking ahead to their pivotal AFC game in Indianapolis on Sunday night, they might be tempted to peek over their shoulders at the Steelers. With a look of worry, too. The Super Bowl champions are gaining on them. Winners of five in a row, the Steelers are looking again like a team no one would willingly play in January.

Pardon my absence this last week. Been in Wichita, Kansas at my girlfriend's family's house. Frankly, there's not been much on my mind other than disappointment with this Steelers team. But there's still three games left and the Steelers have actually gotten some of the help they'd need to sneak in to the playoffs if they were to win out. But thats certainly no guarantee considering how they've looked during their five game losing streak...
