The Real Housewives of Orange County ReCap 11/12/09

And the fighting continues….. Gretchen and Tamra are still fighting.  When we left last week’s episode they were fighting over the fact that Tamra doesn’t like Gretchen because she has a horrible reputation.   Tamara leaves the party and takes Vicky with her.   Both Gretchen and Tamra declare that they will never be friends.

Gretchen claims that she thought that she and Tamra were friends. Did I miss something – has Tamara ever had a nice thing to say to (or about) Gretchen? Why would she think they were friends.

Tamara made another laughable statement this week claiming that she didn’t want to be friends with Gretchen because she wants to be around ”wholesome” people who take care of their family.  Since when did Tamara become wholesome??  That is not one of the words that I would use to describe Tamara – would you??

Gretchen has a tanning party with her “real” friends.   Slade decides to get naked and puts a sock on “it” while he gets spray tanned and Lynn takes off her top because she doesn’t want tan lines.  Thankfully, Gretchen was there for the both of them and held Lynn’s “assets” to make sure that no one saw them.

 Tamra drops a bombshell when she tells Vicki that her and Simon are considering moving.  Vicki thinks Tamra should look for a job – but tells the camera – not Tamra.

Jeana is having a rough time with the real estate business and may have to sell her own house.  Her daughter, Cara, has even gotten a job as a waitress so that she can pay for her rent at college.  Times are definitely tough.

Vicki, her daughter, Brianna and her mother take a trip to Italy for Brianna’s college graduation.  Vicki’s mother wants to go home as soon as they arrive to the hotel and continues to complain throughout the trip. 

Lynne and her daughter pay a visit to a plastic surgeon.  Lynne feels like her “face has fallen and can’t get up” and Raquel wants a nose job.  When Alexa finds out that her mother is getting a facelift and Raquel is getting a nose job she gets very upset.  First she said that she is concerned because they are getting so materialistic and then she wonders what she is going to get.   Jealousy is never pretty.

Tamra admits that not having the money they used to have is causing problems in her marriage.  I am not sure why she thinks it’s because of the money, maybe when she watches the show she’ll realize it has something to do with the fact that Simon is demeaning and degrading and blames everything on her.  As Simon said, “I am always right where Tamra is concerned”.  He knows everything.  She doesn’t stand a chance.
