After earning her degree, she decided to take her acting career seriously and moved to Los Angeles and aggressively broke into show business. Her first major role on the critically acclaimed prime-time drama Friday Night Lights, as the spunky and outspoken high-school student Jean in a few episodes of the series' second season. Grant's next role was the one that really brought her into the spotlight on the bockbuster hit sci-fi series, Heroes.
