Brent Spiner - Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back

By Benjamin on  From zmp3onlinemusic.livejournal.com
Brent Jay Spiner is an actor and broadway performer best known for his role as Lieutenant Commander Data in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He made his musical debut in 1991 with Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back, an album of classic pop standards. The title is a parodic reference both to Frank Sinatra's Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back and the Data character, whose eyes are indeed a golden yellow. In the liner notes, he writes of Sinatra's "You Make Me Feel So Young": 1 - Time After Time - 3:10 2 - The Very...Read Full Story

I am a big Star Trek fan. I used to watch the original as a child my my family but as an adult really got into The Next Generation, second time round! Brent Spiner, pictured here, played Lieutenant Commander Data for those who don't know. He was an android, void of emotion, who strived to become more human. The role gave way for a weekly analysis by Data of the human being, in an attempt to understand humanity, and I found this to be very thought provoking. At the same time the character...Read Full Story

Brent Spiner Interview

By rugsgonecrazy on  From illusiontv.com
Remember I posted that blog last week called “Ask Brent Spiner” where SFX was collecting a bunch of questions from readers to put to Star Trek’s Data? Well, I don’t think this is the one; however, SFX does have an interview with Brent Spiner where he talks about his new album. Which, frankly being that it’s not a spoken-word album like another well-known Trek actor is definitely a step up. My favourite part of the interview was him talking about LeVar Burton’s bachelor party where he...Read Full Story

Brent Spiner Does An Amazing Impression of Patrick Stewart [Video]

By puertoriquez on  From themarysue.com
This video is a bit old, taken at Emerald Con back in March, but that doesn’t make it any less fantastic. I guess when one spends enough time on-set with Patrick Stewart , one becomes able to do a perfect impersonation of him, and that is exactly what Brent Spiner shows us in this video. It’s really great, but not great enough to fool Stewart’s wife. ( The Uniblog )Read Full Story
