Bret Michaels (Getty Images) Just when you thought you'd never find the perfect bandana for your Labradoodle to wear, Poison frontman Bret Michaels has gone and announced he's designing a line of rock 'n' roll pet products certain to satisfy any desperate dog owner's needs.

Teaming up with retail giant PetSmart, the Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection won't land in stores until next summer. But here's what we know (via The Hollywood Reporter): the line will include dog beds, pet clothing, bowls and feeders, collars, and leashes. Not included: tattoos, piercings, and Miley Cyrus.

The singer explained his inspiration: “I know my own pets rock, and I wanted to design a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are." It's anyone's guess what "fun and cool" will translate into once the goods hit the shelf -- though we imagine a lot of leather. But while we anxiously await the launch of his collection, here's a few reasons why you should ultimately pony up the cash for this Poison singer's pet products:

He looks far better in a bandana than you, hence he should know how to make your dog look good in one.
His long blond locks remind us of warm summer days spent watching re-runs of Lassie. We aren't entirely sure what that has to do with his abilities to design a line of pet products, but we also have no idea who gave Martha Stewart the green light to get her own collection, and yet that happened.
The #4: Poison's debut album Look What the Cat Dragged In has sold 4 million copies. PetSmart's stock is currently valued at $40. And he battled 40 mph winds while touring through middle America. Is it all a coincidence, or is the guy predestined to design pet products? We're going to stick with the latter.
Did we mention he looks good in a bandana?
