Whenever we're guilted into watching hockey by the damn media who hypes up a game (as much as an NHL game can be hyped nowadays), we remember how fun a sport it actually is to watch. Pavel Datsyuk scored twice in the second period, and the Detroit Red Wings netted three goals on three shots within 46 seconds of a 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. Tomas Kopecky, Brett Lebda and Henrik Zetterberg also scored, and Chris Osgood stopped 30 shots for Detroit, which is tied for the NHL lead with 99 points. Another night, another blown lead for the Red Wings. Tomas Holmstrom and Brett Lebda scored to give Detroit a 2-1 lead, and then the wheels slowly fell off late. Controversial or not, Phoenix tied the game with less than three minutes remaining because the Coyotes crowded the net and Chris Osgood had no idea where the puck was.
