Pedroia (Daily Democrat) Brett Pedroia , a Woodland, California resident and brother of Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, was sentenced to one year in jail and 8 years probation for having oral sex with a 9-year-old boy. The Daily Democrat reported: After a three day long sentencing hearing, Yolo Superior Court Judge Paul Richardson said evidence showed he would not re-offend. "I find that this is a person who has the ability for rehabilitation," he said.
