DIRECTOR Brett Ratner says he is now in the process of working out the costs and locations for his proposed new Conan movie. He said: "That's something I'm actively attached to. We're just budgeting the script and trying to figure out when's a good time and where to shoot it. It's kind of a global landscape." DIRECTOR Brett Ratner is no longer attached to the remake of Conan, according to the film's producer Joe Gatta. Gatta told Empire : "We're currently in the process of hiring a director. For the past six months we were discussing the movie with Brett Ratner and, for more timing issues than anything else, we had to part ways with Brett.
