DIRECTOR Brett Ratner has had no involvement with Quentin Tarantino's recent war thriller Inglourious Basterds or with the upcoming films Avatar, The Wolfman or Prince of Persia, but somehow he has managed to get a cameo appearance in all of them, courtesy of some spoof posters on a new website.

Brett Ratner, who we all know I loathe and despise, was once attached to a project that when I first heard his named with I cringed at the thought. Ratner was once attached to direct a complete reboot/remake of Conan The Barbarian, the film that made Arnold Schwartzenegger the action hero that he was.

THE DARK KNIGHT: The score to Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight is not eligible to be considered for an Oscar, reports Variety . Academy Award bosses disqualified the music by composers Hans Zimmer and James Newton because the music cue sheet listed five names - Zimmer, Newton and three additional collaborators.
