Family Ties’ Brian Bonsall was sentenced to two years probation yesterday, after pleading guilty to felony menacing and third-degree assault in Boulder, Colorado.

The case stems from a fight that he had with a friend last year. Brian also pleaded guilty to violating the terms of his probation from a 2007 assault case against his girlfriend.

He was sentenced to five days in a work-release program and 40 hours doing community service.
