Brian Bonsall, 'Family Ties' Actor, Arrested in Colorado on Assault Charges
There's been a lot of activity surrounding the old Family Ties cast recently. First Meredith Baxter came out on national TV earlier this month, and now it looks like Brian Bonsall is in trouble with the law after an alleged assault.

Bonsall, who played Michael J. Fox's brother Andy Keaton on the classic '80s show, was arrested for "investigation of assault" in Colorado this weekend. According to CBS News, the 28-year-old former star hit a friend with part of a wooden stool at an apartment on Saturday, though he later claimed that he'd been drinking and didn't remember what happened.
Bonsall is supposed to go to court tomorrow, but until then he's being held in a Boulder jail. This isn't his first run-in with the law: In 2007 Bonsall was sentenced to probation after assaulting his girlfriend.
