Brian Dawkins has never published his physical fitness regimen. But everyone associated with him claims that he works out harder, and with more intensity, than any other NFL player they know. Dawk himself says that he is a beast on the field because of his “controlled fury”, and his workouts are designed to support a chart-topping level of intensity. “I always heard I was too small and wouldn’t last playing football. But I matured and worked hard to enable myself to play at the next level.” – Brian Dawkins Since the details of the Brian Dawkins workout (especially his off-season workout) is not public ... The Eagles defense dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday. After a rough game last week, Jim Johnson devised a terrific scheme to stifle the Steelers offense. You have to be able to play through that stuff on the other side. It’s not all of ... Read Full Story

And with the 19th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select: Miami FS Kenny Phillips Draft Profile styg50 with the pick: Since calming down after the Texans stole my thunder (re. OG Branden Albert) I knew it was time to start looking for a backup safety, and it doesn't get much better than Kenny Phillips this year. Now, I am not looking for a replacement for Brian Dawkins, though he is getting along in years and had a less than productive 2007, after struggling through serious family problems and never getting into the swing of the season before ...
