Customarily, a woman would not have dreamed of getting married without first sitting for her bridal portrait. One thing that makes shooting a bridal portrait difficult is that fact I can’t blog it until the wedding is over.  Alise’s wedding was the weekend before Christmas so I can go ahead and show you the photos now, since everyone has seen the dress.  Alise wanted a Duke Chapel bridal portrait as it was both her Alma Mater and the location of her December wedding ceremony. On April first I had the  pleasure to photograph one of my favorite brides of this years wedding season. Jamie (who was married on May 14th congrats!) choose Fort Fisher, NC as the location for our shoot. Fort Fisher is a place that I am quite fond of.
