MCCAIN FAMILY WHITEWASHED FOR PEOPLE MAGAZINE?

People Magazine:Palins McCains family

Notice anyone missing from the Palin/McCain family portrait from PEOPLE magazine above?  No, we aren't referring to Track Palin or Jimmy & Jack McCain.  But we can't help but wonder what happened to John McCain's 16-year-old adopted daughter, Bridget McCain?  Bridget_McCain_3 John McCain's 16-year-old adopted daughter of BANGLADESHI ORIGIN, Bridget McCain.  Hmmm.  Bridget is in attendance at the Republican National Convention, so why isn't she in the photo?  Perhaps the diversity-challenged Republican party deemed Bridget "not white" enough to be a part of their "all-American" family portrait?  Bridget, who is the youngest member of the McCain family, was adopted by John and Cindy when she was just 10 weeks old, and is their only child still living at home . . . so we ask again, "Why isn't she in this photo?"  Rumor has it that the McCains are "hiding" Bridget away on the advice of consultant Tucker Askew who worked for the Bush campaign in 2000 and used Bridget's heritage and dark skin tone in a nasty anti-McCain smear campaign.  Does Askew fear that Bridget's appearance might hinder McCain's performance in the deep South?  Better yet, why would a respected national publication cooperate in such prejudice?  C'mon PEOPLE . . . what gives?
