Bridget Moynahan is the latest single celebrity mom, and she made ripples with her ex-boyfriend Tom Brady when she decided to pose for the cover of OK Magazine with their baby boy.

Bridget Moynahan is an actress who grew up in Western Massachusetts. She dated New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady from 2004 until Thanksgiving 2006. The couple, who split in December had a baby boy in August 2007.

Brady is now dating super-model Gisele Bundchen.

Gisele Says The Wrong Thing

She does speak many languages, and sometimes things get a little lost in translation, but this just didn't come out right in my opinion.

Gisele is interviewed for the May issue of Vanity Fair . She talks in depth about how she met Tom Brady. She explains the story of how they got together and how soon after he heard that his ex (Bridget Moynahan) was pregnant with his baby. Cut to today where Tom has 50% custody of baby Johnny when he's in L.A. Being that Gisele and Tom live together, that means she also pretty much has custody. Despite this, she has NEVER met Bridget. That is shocking to me from Bridget's standpoint. If someone were going to spending this quality time with my child, I would want to have communication with them.

Anyway, this is the inappropriate quote I am talking about:

Despite their commitment to spending time with John, however, Gisele has never met his mother. “I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,” Gisele says. “I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day.”

Maybe it's because I am a mother that this hits so hard. Maybe she is just trying to say that she loves the kid and wants to be there for him, but it comes out really different to me. It really has a "screw his mom" sound to it. Basically if I were Bridget reading this article, I would be PISSED and want to keep my child far away from that woman.

I am so interested to hear your opinion, because though it may not seem that way, I can see both sides.

I can perfectly understand your feelings, I would most probably feel a very strong pang of jealousy and downright outrage if I was a mom and someone else claimed my son as her own but then again it's not in that way in this case, she isn't just anybody, far worst and far better than that, far worst since she is the woman that took away your man but she is also the woman your child will see 50% of the time, they have a judgment they have to live by and bridget can't do anything to change that, I guess at the very end of my emotional journey I would probably be very grateful and happy that if my son has to live with another woman than me 50% of the time a least it's with a woman that loves him even if I wouldn't love her, what matters really is him and lets not screw him up with our twisted ideas and tell him that that other woman is a bad person.
