Brigitte Bardot is a French actress, former fashion model, singer, animal rights activist and believe it or not, she was considered very attractive, and even deemed a sex kitten in the 1950s and 60s.
She hit the silver screen as a sultry temptress in Et Dieu crea la femme (And God Created Woman) in 1956, instantly making Brigitte Bardot the face that symbolised France - and French women.
