POSSIBLE TARGET: Brodney Pool
If the Vikings want to take a risk and try to find a solid safety to shore up one the weak links in their defense, then maybe they should consider Brodney Pool.
The Browns announced that they would not extend a tender to their restricted free agent and thus even final eight teams like the Vikings can go after them without limitations.
Pool is a risk, however, as he may be only one concussion away from retirement after chronic problems. Poll, however, is now one of the top safeties from a performance standpoint on the market.
I, for one, think this is an option worth exploring.
