According to Wikipedia.org: Broly is a fictional character in the movies of the anime Dragon Ball Z, and factored heavily in movies 8, 10, and 11. He is one of the few remaining Saiyans. He was voiced by Bin Shimada in the original Japanese features and by Vic Mignogna in the FUNimation English dubs. His entire life revolved around his hatred for Goku. Broly's name, like almost all Saiyan characters, stems from a pun on vegetables, in this case the word broccoli.
