Brooke Greenberg, 17 Year Old Baby.

At her 16 years old, Brooke Greenberg weighs 16 pounds and is 30 inches tall. Due to a mysterious disease, she doesn’t grow. Dr. Richard Walker said: “There’ve been very minimal changes in Brooke’s brain. Various parts of her body, rather than all being at the same stage, seem to be disconnected.”
Doctors hope that this single case will perhaps help to shed light on the mystery of aging process.

Brooke hasn’t aged in the conventional sense. Dr. Richard Walker of the University of South Florida College of Medicine, in Tampa, says Brooke’s body is not developing as a coordinated unit, but as independent parts that are out of sync. She has never been diagnosed with any known genetic syndrome or chromosomal abnormality that would help explain why.

Dr Richard Walker who studies Brooke Greenberg (a girl who is now 17 but has the development of a one year old) and believes Brooke may hold the key anti-aging therapies. Here is a 61 page presentation by Dr Walker

This site has featured the case of Brooke Greenberg before with videos and other information.

The Times UK online has some new coverage on Brooke Greenberg.

A Maryland jury has awarded Brooke Greenberg $250,000 for Baltimore medical malpractice injuries she sustained while at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center after she underwent a medical procedure to replace her feeding tube in 2007. The Reisterstown teenager is known internationally for never aging past infancy, despite the fact that she is 17-years-old.

come on people, you honestly think this is a hoax… think about this…they ran the report when she was 8, now FOUR YEARS LATER, they ran another story on her and shes the same size… (little known fact: normal infants grow a great deal in four years, as do their siblings) SO: if Brooke is no bigger than she was 4 years ago, and looks the exact same, and yet her siblings ARE bigger, then…reason would lead us to the conclusion that…this is not a hoax!

Brooke Greenberg (born January 8, 1993), is a young woman from Reisterstown, Maryland, who has remained physically and cognitively similar to a toddler, despite her increasing age. She is about 30 inches tall, weighs about 16 pounds,

Scientists are hoping to gain new insights into the mysteries of ageing by sequencing the genome of a 17-year-old girl who has the body and behaviour of a tiny toddler.
