Brooke made her film debut in Louis Malle's "Pretty Baby," in which she played a child prostitute. She is perhaps best known for her role in "The Blue Lagoon."

Between the takes on the sets of her forthcoming film “Furry Vengeance”, Hollywood actress Brooke Shields keeps herself busy knitting blankets or playing games.
"I either knit or I play Cordy between the takes at the shooting site. Cordy is a jungle game and I have been knitting my kids' blankets. On this last movie I did, I finished two blankets and became an expert at this game,” okmagazine.com quoted Shields as saying.

Brooke Shields is set to appear on the situation comedy The Middle, ABC announced.
In a guest appearance she will play the nemesis of main character Frankie, who is played by Patricia Heaton.
“Frankie fears that a confrontation with trashy neighbour Rita Glossner is at hand when Sue has a run-in with her sons,” the network said in a release Monday.
Shields, 44, will also appear in the upcoming movies, The Greening Of Whitney Brown and Furry Vengeance.
