IRON MAIDEN's DICKINSON Gives The BBC "The Verbal Finger"
It is being reported that Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson was offered a job to be a judge on the U.K. version of The Voice. Show organizers all over the globe are trying to compete with Simon Cowell’s The X Factor. Even though Nergal of Behemoth has signed on for the Polish version, Dickinson isn’t so eager about the BBC’s job offer.
Bruce stated the following on the proposed gig:
“That show sounds so crap and demeaning to everyone involved, I took great delight in turning the BBC down. ‘The X Factor’ is appalling enough, it’s no better than ‘Opportunity Knocks’.”
Well said Bruce…you’re still our hero!
