Bryan Cranston: Tom Cruise Is 'Astonishing' In 'Rock Of Ages'

"Rock of Ages" doesn't blast into theaters until this
summer, but Tom Cruise is already getting rave
reviews from his co-stars.

AccessHollywood.com's Laura Saltman caught up
with Bryan Cranston at Sunday's Golden Globes,
where the actor chimed in on Tom's Stacee Jaxx
character.

"I don't think there's any harder working actor in
Hollywood than Tom Cruise.

He's a lovely guy and
he's astonishing in this role," Bryan, who was
nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor in a
Television Series - Drama category for "Breaking
Bad," said.

"I look at that character that he portrays and I don't
see Tom Cruise," he continued. "He has taken over
this guy."

In the upcoming "Rock of Ages" (opening June 1),
Bryan plays the Mayor of Los Angeles, opposite
Catherine Zeta-Jones, his onscreen wife who is
fighting against the evils of rock music.

"It's so much fun.
We get to sing and dance and be
goofy and '80s rock anthem music.
It was just so
much fun," Bryan, who said he'll be sporting long
sideburns and below-the-collar hair for the role,
explained.

Adding, "'Rock of Ages' is going to rock the world!"
