Chile─based wines exporter Cono Sur launches wines in India

Chile─based wine exporter Cono Sur, one of the largest producers of Pinot Noir in the world, has launched its wines in the Indian market. The wines have been exclusively imported by Sula Selections, the import arm of Sula Vineyards. The following wines were launched namely Cono Sur Bicycle Chardonnay 2010, Cono Sur Bicycle Pinot Noir 2010, Cono Sur Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 and Tocornal Merlot 2010.

Adolfo Hurtado, CEO and Chief Winemaker, Cono Sur said, “We are pleased about entering the Indian market; one that represents great potential and the exciting opportunity to work with Sula, India's leading wine producer and a top wine and spirit importer.”

Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery was named Green Company of the Year 2011 by the British magazine Drinks Business. Moreover, Cono Sur is the first winery in South America and third in the world to actually measure its carbon footprint.
