By Julian Ayrs on  From ijulian.blogspot.com
There were quite a few cheers around the country this week when a Chief Judge i the Federal District Court put former President George W. Bush in his place at long last. In sum, the Jurist rejected the Bush administration’s arguments in support of warrantless wiretapping of suspected terrorists (emphasis on suspected) and found in favor of the plaintiffs that Government agents had put an ear to the wall illegally in respect to a U.S.-based charitable organization. Chief District Court Judge...Read Full Story

Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight

By Onetum on  From dohweb.com
Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight: From the moment he set foot on it, Karl Rove has rocked America's political stage. He ran the national College Republicans at twenty-two, and turned a Texas dominated by Democrats into a bastion for Republicans. He launched George W. Bush to national renown by unseating a popular Democratic governor, and then orchestrated a GOP White House win at a time when voters had little reason to throw out the incumbent party. For...Read Full Story

Why make a movie about George W. Bush and release it only three weeks prior to the election escorting him out of the White House? That's...Read Full Story

Yahoo Image Search By Creative Commons License

By hshasty on  From searchenginesnark.com
For the blogging and presenting set, a new fun function from Yahoo Image search: Breakdowns by creative commons permissions. Let’s face it – this never really stopped anyone from re-using content from other sites and especially images – especially in instances where the license wasn’t made especially clear. But, much like iTunes when it first came out, for those interested in following the rules this makes for an easy and relatively painless process…or at least a subtle reminder to people...Read Full Story
