That Was Fast: Burt Reynolds Already Out of Rehab

Just yesterday, news broke that 73-year-old Burt Reynolds was seeking help from rehab clinic Florida's Hanley Center after realizing he'd become addicted to prescription pills. Now, Burt has already left the facility. His manager said in a statement:
After a recent back surgery, Mr. Reynolds felt like he was going through hell and after a while, realized he was a prisoner of prescription pain pills.

He checked himself into rehab in order to regain control of his life. Mr. Reynolds hopes his story will help others in a similar situation.

He hopes they will not try to solve the problem by themselves, but realize that sometimes it is too tough to do on their own and they should seek help, as he did. Reynolds accepting a lifetime achievement award in 2007.
Burt's manager also added he was unsure when the star entered or was released from the center. Huh? Glad we cleared that up.

Burt admitted he was reliant on sleeping medication Halcion in the 1980s. He used the medication after he was diagnosed with temporomandibular joint disorder, a painful condition which affected his jaw.
