hooked on the prize winning comedy series, The Office?  Do you watch online tv shows? It was North Andover week for the Week 7 of the "I Beat Burt" contest. Five of the 10 winners this week hailed from North Andover, including eighth grader Jeff Warden. This week Burt correctly picked nine winners out of the 13 games.

Sports columnist Bill Burt has had better weeks. Burt picked only six winners of the 14 NFL games last weekend. In all there were 294 entries picking against Burt. Each week a maximum of 10 T-shirts are awarded. The first tiebreaker is amount of points the Patriots scored (59). Each of this week's winners had the Patriots scoring 40 points or more.

Ramsey Elementary teacher Trena Burt was recently recognized as the 2009 Idaho Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Anna Wilson, principal at Ramsey, knows all about Burt’s dedication, in and out of the gym, and nominated her. She also accompanied Burt to Moscow earlier this month at a statewide P.E. and health teachers conference, where she was given the award during a luncheon.

This week, because nobody won last week, we will be awarding 13 T-shirts. All of the winners chose a Patriots score of 23 points or less. The Patriots scored only nine points.
