Why wasn’t Game 5 played in Game 2? Weren’t Deng and Boozer leaders then, too? When will C.J. Watson learn to get rid of the ball immediately when the double-team comes? When will John Lucas III learn to get rid of the ball, period?  

It means C.J. Watson can’t get away with 11 so-so minutes. It means John Lucas — an even more slightly built version of Williams — won’t watch the entire game from the bench. Chicago’s backcourt will be less explosive, more flawed.  

He did, however, tally five assists. Boozer led the way for the Bulls with 13 points in the half. The rest of the production came from the bench, with C.J. Watson and Kyle Korver each adding six points.  

Second, it’s going to be interesting to see who the Bulls go out and try to get this summer to be the Rose stand-in until he returns. Nothing against C.J. Watson, but the Bulls need another point now.
