Judge Laureen D'Ambra Nominated for the RI Supreme Court! Are Rhode Island Citizens In Danger? In my opinion. . . . WE ARE!
A call from a lawyer colleague alerted me to the fact that Judge Laureen D'Ambra is being considered as one of the nominees for a position on our Rhode Island Supreme Court was enough to increase my concern for the people of our fair state. How many stories are there about Judge Laureen D'Ambra and the damage she caused to Rhode Island Families while she was assigned to the domestic calendarin Washington County for two (2) years on the Domestic Calendar? I know of six (6) families victimized by Judge D'Ambra's actions in the course of her duties as a Rhode Island Associate family court judge and I am convinced there are likely to be many more. Mr. Christopher Pearsall has posted such blathering on multiple internet sources, including his own blog, in some cases attempting to disguise his identity under the muse of various user names. It is clear, however, from the content and tone of the posts that it is Mr. Pearsall attempting to flood the internet with false information about one of the best Judges we have in Rhode Island. He has even gone so far as to comment on his own posts using a different user name to create the false impression of others concurrence with his erroneous views.
It should be emphasized that Mr. Christopher Pearsall has been subject to numerous complaints from his clients and has been sanctioned for his actions. He is no longer a practicing attorney in the State of Rhode Island, has been under psychiatric evaluation (and possibly medicated) in the past, and has diminished his practice to that of a charlatan "advising" those clients seeking to represent themselves.
Unfortunately, his intent is clear to discredit Judge Laureen D'Ambra during the judicial selection process. His desire to hurt Judge Laureen D'Ambra who has a reputation of protecting clients from incompetent attorneys stems from his own incompetence and unprofessionalism. I urge everyone to ignore the comments of this individual and check for yourself his dubious history and background, particularly his mistreatment of his own clients.
