Research Scientist – New Product Development at Avery Dennison
The Research Scientist will research, plan and execute experiments, work in cross-functional teams and research projects.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Carry out experiments to develop self-adhesive labels and packaging materials
• Carry out required testing on labels and packaging materials
• Work under the direction of a senior scientist
• Identify and purchase required equipments and consumables
• Interface with procurement colleagues to identify and develop suppliers of raw materials
• Interface with manufacturing colleagues to scale-up new products
• Follow company mandated product development process and project management discipline
• Summarize results and conclusions and provide periodic updates to supervisor
• Visit customers with business colleagues to learn needs and share data
• Attend trade shows and conferences to keep abreast of industry and technical developments
• Benchmark competitor products and technologies

Experience 0 - 3 Years .
Education UG - B.Sc - Chemistry, B.Tech/B.E. - Chemical
PG - M.Sc - Chemistry, M.Tech - Chemical
Desired Profile
EDUCATION:
• Polymer Science / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Materials Science
EXPERIENCE
• PhD, or Masters degree
• Fresh graduates or less than 3 years industrial experience in R&D;
• Position title & salary dependent on degree and experience level
• Must have good academic track record and research accomplishments
