Anadarko, Noble settle rig dispute before trial
Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC) and Noble Corp. (NYSE: NE) settled their $102 million dispute over the termination of a drilling rig lease right before the case was set to go to trial, Bloomberg reports. If the case had gone to trial as expected May 29, it would have been the first case related to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill to go to trial.
