My VERY Shortest Short Sale....
Recently I told you about the longest short sale (A Tale of Tenancity, I Refused to take NO for an Answer) I've had in a long time. It's only fair that I give the Shortest Short Sale it's due time.
November 25th the JP Morgan Chase listing was signed.
November 28th the contract was received by Jp Morgan Chase
December 4th Offers Countered, Offer Accepted, We are in Contract
December 17st We get OUR APPROVAL from Jp Morgan Chase – 13 days
January 21st close with a 7 day extension to allow for Holiday Vacation Days
We closed this short sale from start to finish in under 60 days.
To top it off the seller received a forgiveness of $1.4 million, with no deficiency. Chase also gave the Sellers $35,000 to short sale their home which I explain here
