CSX CEO prefers West Coast port growth
CSX Corp.’s CEO Michael Ward prefers West Coast port growth as opposed to East Coast port expansion, the Journal of Commerce reports. Ward told the Journal he prefers the West Coast because shipments from the west are less likely to go on trucks and that West Coast ports will continue to be the bigger players as the East Coast ports will experience growth from the expansion of the Panama Canal.
