Anheuser-Busch Cos. has bought Premium Beers of Oklahoma, one of the top 20 Anheuser–Busch distributors in the country, for $182 million, The Oklahoman reports. With the purchase, A-B will control up to 90 percent of its sales in Oklahoma, or about 17 million cases.

Jerry Clinton, former owner of Grey Eagle Distributors, died today at age 74. He had battled cancer for the past few years. Clinton began his career as an employee of the Anheuser-Busch wholesaler, working his way up and eventually buying the company in 1980.
