The Tory Burch sale kicked off this morning in midtown and by lunchtime one of our tipsters reported that the line was all the way down 36th Street. The stock, however, is apparently seriously disappointing.

Kevin Burch's current job pays him $2 an hour less than a previous job he lost last year due to the recession.
Burch, who currently works on hydraulic jacks, can't find the work needed to pay for the family's escalating bills.
"He is a hard worker," said his wife, Andrea, 30. "There seems to be no job openings on what he is qualified to do."
