As much of an energy hog that the CERN Collider is, why isn’t the land above it covered with wind turbines?

During it’s down time, it could be off setting its usual consumption of power, by putting power back into the grid, for general usage. Even though some of the land is still being used for agriculture, wind turbines wouldn’t be too much of an obstacle. But contribute to keeping the land “greener”. More Pages:What is [...] More Pages:
