Item Description
You are bidding on an authentic Montblanc Meisterstuck sterling silver and black Solitaire Doue fountain pen.
The pen has been previously inked but is in excellent to near mint condition with the exception of of some tiny corrosion spots on the ring near the nib. This is typical for these pens as the Montblanc ink is water based. It has no other visible signs of use on the body and the gold trim even under the magnifying glass.
This fine writing instrument was crafted in Germany by Montblanc. The pen is approximately 5 3/8 inches long. It is made with a brilliant combination of stainless steel cap and black body. The clip and cap rings are platinum plated.
The pen has a medium point nib that is hand crafted with 18K gold and platinum inlay. The nib is in mint condition. The nib has the following markings: 4810, M, 18K, MONTBLANC, and 750 on it.
The pen uses ink cartridges or a piston converter. At the moment it is equipped with a piston converter.
“MONTBLANC MEISTERSTUCK” is engraved onto the center ring of the cap. The clip ring has “GERMANY METAL 2″ and the serial number “EG115923″ are engraved in small letters on it.
The Montblanc presentation box and service guide are not available for this pen. The pen is guaranteed authentic or your money back including return shipping.
There is a white star on the top of the pen.
This type of fountain pen (that is, model 144 Classique) is no longer manufactured by Montblanc. A new condition pen like this one would likeley retail at around $700.00 plus tax at the Montblanc stores.

USA: $16 — Expedited Parcel Post; it takes a minimum of 4-8 business days for delivery. Faster service is available at additional cost.
OVERSEAS: $65 — We only ship overseas using express mail service (Canada Post Xpresspost) a fully trackable service.
